Description:
Wells Silver Sage Senior Citizens Center caters to individuals age 60 and over in the Wells community. The center offers a nutrition program Monday through Friday at noon in a congregate setting at the senior center, and a meal delivery program is offered to those who are homebound.
The transportation program operates Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hours are extended upon request for appointments and special events when a driver is available. Clients can ride the bus to and from the center for lunch and to businesses and facilities within the Wells city limits.
Bi-weekly trips are scheduled to Elko, Nevada to provide shopping and medical options for the clients.
Ages: 60 and older

Criteria for Services or Eligibility:
Clients must be age 60 or over to participate in the nutrition programs on a donation basis. Those under the age of 60 must pay a set fee.
Clients age 60 and over can participate in the transportation program on a donation basis, however those who are under the age of 60 can participate if there is seating available on the bus.
